Statement on Non-Discrimination

In compliance with state and federal law, including Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, the Michigan Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act, and the Michigan Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, it is the policy of the Coldwater Community School District that no person shall, on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, or a pregnancy related condition), age, disability, height, weight, marital or family status, genetic information, or military service be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to unlawful discrimination in any program, service, or activity, including employment, provided or offered by Coldwater Community Schools.
