Homebound Or Hospital Students

Homebound and hospitalized services are provided to students unable to attend school because of a medical condition that will keep them from attending school for a period of more than 2 weeks. A physician's certification that the student is unable to attend school because of illness or injury is required provided the pupil is physically capable of participating in instruction. The school will make arrangements for the service to begin within three (3) days of being notified by the parents. Students will receive a minimum of two 45-minute periods per week and a maximum of three (3) hours per week.
