Coldwater Community Schools Mourns the Loss of Caleb Johnson

Dear Coldwater Community Schools Family and Friends,

Coldwater Community Schools received notification on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, that Coldwater High School student Caleb Johnson has died unexpectedly. This news certainly is a shock and tragedy to our school family. We extend our deepest sympathy to the Johnson family during this most difficult time.

Many of our students, staff and families at Coldwater Community Schools will also share in this loss with the Johnson family. The death of a child or student in the school community can raise many different thoughts and reactions. Our district's crisis response team has been mobilized and is ready and available for any student, staff member or family member who may need assistance this morning or throughout the week. We are also grateful for the support that is being provided to us by our Branch ISD, Calhoun ISD, neighboring school districts, staff from the Community Health Center of Branch County, as well as other local organizations in our caring community. Should you or your child need support as they learn of this news, please contact your child's school or myself, Terry Ann Boguth, Superintendent at bogutht@ccscards.org.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all during this most difficult time.

Life is so precious. Take time to hug your child/children today. I know I will.

Terry Ann Boguth, Superintendent
