Lakeland 5th Grade student Jaxon Janusz has been selected to attend the 2013 Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington DC this summer. There will be a benefit fundraiser at the Quincy American Legion this Sunday, May 19, from 7-11am. The event is open to the public with a menu including pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and bacon. The cost is a $5 donation for adults and $3 donation for children. All proceeds will go towards the expenses for Jaxon's trip. Hope to see you there!
Lakeland's Field Day will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 9:30-11:30am and 1:30-3pm. We are looking for people willing to volunteer their time during either or both sessions to supervise events.
