Mission Statement

To promote the welfare of children and youth in, home, school and community.
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education.

As parents, students, and teachers of Jefferson Elementary, we all have a voice in the way the PTO is being run. Your input is encouraged and always welcome. If there is anything you would like to have addressed at a PTO Meeting, please put it in writing to:

or have your child drop it at the office. Include the following information in your correspondence: Your name, phone number, date, issue, concern, or suggestion that needs to be addressed. PTO Meeting Agendas are posted on the PTO bulletin board in the hallway by the office about one week before the meeting. The minutes of the meetings are also posted for your information. If you need a copy, one can be made in the office.
