FHS Craft Show

The only fund-raising event for our school is our annual Fall Festival Craft Show held at Legg Middle School on the 2nd Saturday of November each year.  Students work at the craft show by helping vendors carry in their crafts and setting up their tables, selling raffle tickets at the door, face painting, or working at the concession stand.  The profits we make from this day are used to help pay for the publication of our yearbook - as a result students only pay $5.00 a piece for their own copy.  Besides raising money, students and staff have a great time working together.

Be sure to come shop at our craft show - support our efforts by purchasing from our vendors!  Don't forget to have a snack or eat lunch at our concession stand as well.  Concession stand items include:  hot dogs, sloppy dogs, pizza, nachos, popcorn, coffee, hot chocolate, pop, chips and other snacks.

The kitchen crew: Allison, Steve and Sarah Cruz and Elizabeth face paint.

Brian, Brittnay, Erica and MaryJo sell raffle tickets.

District Process for Determination of a Specific Learning Disability:

For the determination of students eligible with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), The Coldwater School District uses a Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses Process for the determination of a Specific Learning Disability for all buildings and all grades in the district and includes the following:

  1. The student does not achieve adequately for the student’s age or to meet State-approved grade-level standards in one or more of the areas identified at 34 CFR §300.309(a)(1)(i) when provided with learning experiences and instruction appropriate for the student’s age or State-approved grade-level standards; and
  2. The student exhibits a pattern of strengths and weaknesses in performance, achievement, or both, relative to age, State-approved grade-level standards, or intellectual development, that is determined by the MET to be relevant to the identification of a SLD, using appropriate assessments, consistent with the IDEA Evaluation Procedures and Additional Requirements for Evaluations and Reevaluations.
