Lincoln Elementary SchoolThe Coldwater Community Schools Kinder Learning Academy provides a fun, activity-based learning environment that will help kids with kindergarten readiness by encouraging educationally based play with physical activity, field trips, and healthy snacks. For the 2013-14 school year, we will be offering two sections. The morning session, for kids who will be 3 years old by November 1, 2013, will run from 8:30-11:45am Monday through Thursday. The new afternoon session, for kids who will be 4 years old by November 1, 2013, will run from 12:15-3:30pm Monday through Thursday. There will be several scholarships available for both the morning and the afternoon preschool sessions. These scholarships are made possible through a grant from the Branch County Community Foundation. If you are interested, any registered students may apply.
We are also pleased to announce that we will be offering childcare services through our new Kinder Childcare Center beginning in the 2013-14 school year. This childcare program services children who will be age 3 by November 1, 2013, through age 5.
Detailed information on Kinder Learning Academy and Kinder Childcare Center is available
here in the 2013-14 Parent Handbook, which was approved by the Coldwater Board of Education at its January 28, 2013 meeting.
These two programs, along with our Kids Club latchkey program for Y5-12-year-olds, will be located at Lincoln Elementary School.
