School Messenger Notification of school closings and delays: In the event of inclement weather causing school delays or cancellations, families will receive notification from the School Messenger automated phone system. These calls will be made as early as 5:30am to allow everyone time to make alternative plans for child care and their workday. If you are not receiving calls, you might wish to contact the building secretary for your child to confirm that we have your proper home phone number on file.
Are you annoyed by repeated calls from School Messenger? Some families receive repeated notifications from School Messenger. This is caused by hanging up before the message finishes. The system thinks you were cut off, so it dials your number again. It will do this several times; you seem trapped. There is a way to stop the calls the first time. If you press "1" or "#" at the voice prompt, the system knows you heard the call. Hang up anytime after that, and it will not try your number again.
